From the tranquility of The Gables to the traffic and parking hassles of central London via a pleasant interlude with son and granddaughter at my mum’s flat where parking is unrestricted….thank goodness! Then back home with a car load of shopping and the wonderful and somewhat ubiquitous sight of fields of oil seed rape flowers as I returned, once more, to my home.

A lovely photo of you both. Always good to return home, and as you mention, there is a lot of oil seed rape in flower, I actually quite like the peppery scent, and find the saturated yellow quite mesmerising, especially the field on the left at Langford, the flowers look like they are flowing down a huge dam.
