Setting sun and setting the stone

I drove home into the setting sun after a day when we set the stone on Dad’s grave.  As his granddaughter, (our daughter) said in her beautiful words at the cemetery today, Dad always said “yes”.  Yes to taking his grandchildren to all their sporting activities, yes to volunteering with cancer patients, yes to giving money to anyone in need, yes to helping his parents, children and grandchildren both financially, emotionally and physically and yes to questioning why The Almighty allowed bad things to happen to good people.  Above all he loved our Mum from the moment he met her until the day he died after 65 years of marriage.
