Two squirrel proof sunflower seed dispensers ensure that the birds, not the squirrels, have access to the “bird food”.  But one canny squirrel has managed to prise open the metal cage surrounding the peanuts and, lying upside down, reaches in to take a nut and nibble it whilst hanging by its long clawed feet.  The price of bird food has increased by over 30% since we started feeding the birds.  So, if anyone wants to sponsor a voracious squirrel please let me know.
