We harvested rosehips from the hedgerows this morning, at great cost to my bloodstained fingers.  The thorns and nettles surrounding the berries did their best to keep us away but Jeremy and I were determined to put enough in the bucket so that I could make rosehip syrup this evening.  I remember making it many years ago but don’t remember if it really kept the colds at bay.  I will let you know. But first I have to make the brew.
