Artichoke vinaigrette ….anyone care to join us?

When Jeremy planted two rows of globe artichokes he told me that they would not produce any heads this year.

It seems that combination of well manured Bedfordshire soil, abundant sunshine and just enough rain have produced a bumper crop of globe artichokes.
Two each might be greedy but, unless anyone joins us, we shall just have to eat them ourselves!

I wish they would eat the glut of courgettes and runner beans!

  2. Wow! Look fantastic – you won’t have to go shopping any more for food – all self grown – what could be better.
