Everyone is here today.  British Gas who are putting in the electricity meter following the completion of the three phase supply installed in the neighbouring field last week.  We could write a book about the delays and mismanagement of the three phase and the electricity meter and whoever knew how important an mpan number was before all this began…..but if it all switches on then the aggravation will be forgotten.

Bob is putting in the heaters, Chris is filling in the holes left from the digger when the water pipes were laid.  If we left this until next week then we might find “little people” trying to jump across these open ditches and falling into the glutinous mud or, worse still, breaking limbs.

Craig is trying to finish tiling the bathrooms in the garages so that they can be grouted and the shower doors fitted.  We hope that tomorrow Paul will be here to lay the vinyl floor covering.  The curtain tracks ( but not yet the curtains) were put up yesterday and the blinds fitted to the back windows and there are six beds to assemble and furniture to unpack and put in place.

We are taking this project “to the wire” as everyone arrives on Tuesday afternoon.  Wish us luck!
