These are brilliant pics of the Greater Spotted. I have tried all ways to get a photo of ‘mine’ but he is very alert to any slight movement. Did you say this is telephoto lens? Luv Em

The woodpecker didn’t seem to mind us sitting really quite close to him nor was he frightened when I tiptoed indoors to,fetch the camera
We got lucky
From the photos i know that even “our” Woodpeckers are related.
