After a day of grey skies and rain the sun made a brief appearance and the spring flowers glistened in the evening sunshine.
It was a day to be indoors, cleaning the fireplaces as we don’t expect to light the woodburners again before the autumn.

And a day to bake bread for the bank holiday weekend.
