Our fantastic local builder, joiner and project manager, Craig, has begun the task of converting the garages into three bedrooms so that our elderly parents can come and stay with us and enjoy the magic of The Gables.

in order to make an omelette you have to crack eggs.  So the rotten wooden doors have been removed and the side door dismantled and now the bricklayer can brick up the outside wall and make preparations for the new doors and windows and partitions.

The building is open to the elements and we hope the weather will be kind to Craig and the brickie as they work to provide us with additional family accommodation.
