Domino’s lamb is being bottle fed. The vet came out to see old Gertie who has been off her feet since this morning. She’s old (at least 12) and needs to sleep. I held her and said goodbye as she went on her journey

Then the vet fed Domino’s lamb more colostrum.

She will go onto milk powder in 24 hours. The weather has taken a very cold, wet turn. The barns are open for shelter

Domino has a scarred udder and can’t produce milk. Last year she had twins that needed bottle feeding. We are fortunate she just has one lamb this year
