






When we got home look what we found …


Cummings had given birth to twins in the field shelter. A boy and a girl. We moved twins and mum to the sheep barn and gave mum hay and water and concentrates.







Where we attended a talk by a retired teacher, Paul Salver, who tirelessly goes into schools in Milton Keynes and Bedfird and surrounding areas to teach about the Holocaust as well as genocide awareness.
As written by one of the schools he visited in Milton Keynes, ‘His message is that we can bring together all social, cultural and racial groups to stand against racism and intolerance through knowledge and understanding of the Holocaust and other genocides.’
I wish that were true now and that it could be true in the future.

No lambs…




For 15 years the family-run business had been renting some land where they managed snd cut the wood and then delivered it to customers. Due to local council bureaucracy they were not allowed to continue their business and now they buy in wood – grown and cut in Lithuania. Ironically it is actually more profitable for them to do this!
