I asked my brother, just now, about his next gig. He sent me this…….

I think this is a tour!!!!!!

Well if Coldplay can go on a world tour then my brother can tour North and East London!

I’m too far away to get to the gigs and will stick to milking goats and admiring the autumn colours along Mill Road.

October colours

The weather is mild and there are flowers everywhere

One of the Acers is turning

The Jerusalem artichoke flowers (closely related to sunflowers)

Poppies late in the season, very late

Autumn dahlia

Wonderful spreading nasturtiums

A bee feeds from flowering Borage

Lavender is still blooming

And the thrill of the late summer (our first time of planting) the magnificent Cosmos flowers

Happy hens scratch around in fresh straw

Nothing nicer than a layer of clean straw inside and outside of the hen houses and runs

The goats were particularly friendly this evening.

We need to get a collar for Ruth. She is growing fast and looks very much like her mother Willow

A friend (with a painful back) popped in to collect

My heat pad – which might help her aches and pains. We had a cuppa and a natter and then went outside to see the goats

Willow and I had a good milking session this morning.

She eats at one end whilst I milk at the other end

And we both enjoy listening to The Bob Harris Country Show as she eats and I milk!
