Treats for goats

Two Wednesday walkers. The third (me) taking the photo. Two others have foot and leg injuries, another thought it would rain and a fourth had a hospital appointment. Our numbers are dwindling!

I watered it regularly and soon a shoot appeared. J said it was a tomato plant. I hoped it was a cherry tree seedling. He was right and I was wrong. After a while it needed to be repotted and moved to the lounge and two weeks ago repotted again.

I also took some seeds from a shop bought sweet pepper and put them in pots. I didn’t think they would germinate but today there are signs of life with more pushing through.

Poddy and Spotty were waiting for their bottles but I needed to go into the field to find Dotty. I found her snuggled up with the very youngest lamb, Spot’s son Sammy.

I hope the other lambs don’t want to dye their wool!
J reports that Dotty drank a whole bottle of milk this morning. That’s a first. Well done Dotty
