Jeremy brought five cucumbers into the kitchen this afternoon and left them on the counter
I came in a few minutes later and found Nigel on the floor with a cucumber – munching away

Within an hour of the announcement of the new leader of the Conservative
Daughter was being interviewed on France 24 TV. I came in from mucking out the goat shed to watch her (a good excuse for a break)

The programme on Radio 4 that helped me pass the time was The Reunion talking about Island Records – including discussing the unique late, great Bob Marley who J and I were privileged to see and hear play at The Hammersmith Odeon in the 1970’s. He died aged 36 but his music and the legend lives on …….

The jury is out!
Every night the bowl is tipped over and any food has disappeared. We were thinking that a badger was the culprit. On examining the camera this morning J saw a glimpse of a long tail that looked suspiciously like Nigel’s tail. Further investigation will have to be carried out before he is tried and sentenced!
A friend called in this afternoon and went home with cucumbers and courgettes
