As I prepare to sit at the Friday night table
I will light a second set of candles for those women held hostage who cannot light their own Sabbath candles this week. When I ignite the flame I will ask the Higher Power to bring home all those taken and bring a speedy end to the suffering of all those innocents caught in the crossfire of war.
