Mea culpa!

Last night I went to the paddock and put the chooks away and locked them up safely for the night. I took two bowls of goat mix to the goat barn and closed the girls in with hay and water and their food. Only…..

Apparently I hadn’t shut Wisp in the goat shed and she was sitting outside when I went to do the milking this morning. She looked at me reproachfully. I apologised. I think she forgave me

Visiting mother and baby

The mother was born here and sold to our friend and neighbour a few years ago. We called her Bella but she was renamed Parsley. She has given birth to several bonny calves including this year a strapping baby boy.

I came home and had a cuddle with the sheep

The Detectorists paid a visit today

We picked cherries
And they cooed over the goslings

And one of them found a Conder token

“Conder tokens, also known as 18th-century provincial tokens, were a form of privately minted tokencoinage struck and used during the later part of the 18th century and the early part of the 19th century in England, Angleseyand Wales, Scotland, and Ireland.”
