Been making a meal of the rabbit all day long and now into the evening

Mabel is staying in her latest Amazon box – it’s just the right size

Nigel wouldn’t come in last night but kept on calling us – first at the back door then at the front door. We soon realised that he wanted us to follow him to the cat barn and admire his “kill”. I admire his hunting skills but wish he wouldn’t!

The goats are enjoying some free Brussels sprouts given to us by the shop where we buy the animal fodder.

And below what Nigel thinks of it all and the state of world politics. Sadly, Nigel, I’m with you!

I put some extra hay in the field shelter, trying to encourage the sheep to use that small building as well as the barn. It’s so wet here that I would like to see the livestock going under cover – you can lead a sheep to shelter but you can’t make it stay!

My yetzer hora is public speaking (look it up). I love the interaction with a live audience and, truthfully, I never have a script and always enjoy the questions at the end (but not the statements masquerading as questions. Take note).

I unexpectedly sold lots of books and was glad to know that some of the audience had bought and read it (and lent it out – dash it) some time ago.
I’ve got three more gigs lined up and then will start publicising the new book which should be published next month.
