I hope it will all go smoothly but who knows?

In the paddock chicken run our last remaining pure white Silkie hen is literally on her last legs. We had to carry her into the henhouse last night and this morning I put her in her own small house away from the activity of the other birds.

She has had a good long life of probably 9 or 10 years. Sleep easy and pass easy.
