The asparagus plants blew over and I cut them down. Their roots are firmly under the soil ready to spring up next year. Twigs and branches and leaves are waiting to be collected and swept up when the wind abates.
Storm Bert causes minor damage here (so far). Sympathy goes out to other parts of the UK
