Rhyme Time at the St Neots library this morning. My choice of Three Blind Mice didn’t go down too well with the librarian and it got worse with Oranges and Lemons (work it out from the end of the rhymes) but my other choices got the thumbs up. I’ve made a revised list of songs and rhymes for next week including Sing a Song of sixpence (maybe they won’t approve of four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie)!
Then it was home and a cuppa and a mad dash to London where the speed limit is 20 mph and all the road layouts confound me

To think that central London was my childhood and teenage playground. I look back with rose tinted spectacles. Then into a book launch event of a series of responses to October 7th co-edited by daughter. Two of the speakers had flown in – one from Warsaw and one from Oslo to join the panel. Interesting, dynamic and depressing.
