
This is the first time in nearly 10 days that she has been able to stand. I really hope that she has turned a corner. We will keep her in the barn whilst she (we hope) continues to recover her health and mobility.

Good luck to Gertie. Goes to prove that Jacobs are a tough breed unlike a lot of the
Downland breeds which would have rolled over and quietly died.
Hannah’s mixed flock of island and moorland breeds are very similar and certainly less work to keep them healthy and producing lambs regularly.
I fear to,orrow will be an even wetter day – our poor land!
