This morning, in the rain, I began to cut down the asparagus ferns The goats enjoyed a wheelbarrow full. There are two more to go They have eaten the first load I hope they don’t get sick After the rain some late afternoon sun

Goats make excellent recyclers, don’t they? When people ask me why I don’t have a green bin I tell them my waste plants etc either go straight onto one of my many compost heaps, or through a cow first!
I walked past yours (fast) at 4.15 as I was late getting Zola out for her walk today so I went down Mill Road and round to the track back up towards mine. Was very glad of my yellow vest by the time we got home as it really dropped dark quickly today – boohoo!
