A Wednesday walk to bring joy to my heart

We spotted a Little Egret on the pond. It flew off and settled around the corner where I approached it quietly until it saw me. Click below

As we continued through the fields I saw a skylark ascending. We stood and watched until it disappeared although it’s song remained

And we met Twiggy and her owner
