For several weeks, since the onset of cold and frosty days and nights, we have found lots of evidence of digging around the vegetable garden. We put out a night camera and occasionally saw odd shadowy shapes when we looked through the grainy photos but nothing conclusive
Dr Google and friend Kate suggested either badgers or even hungry foxes could be digging for worms during the cold snap

My badgers have dug up the lawn this year. But then I encourage them with peanuts, sultanas and bread. Sometimes they hunker down in the sett to give birth and don’t bother with food.
