We were down by the pond clearing brambles when I noticed a lot of activity in the bee hives. They only come out when it’s warm and it is warm today. Jeremy says they are in cleaning flights (which is more or less what we doing at the pond). On the walk back along the garden we found more globe artichokes (we picked and cooked some last week) and then, to my amazement we found fresh, red rhubarb growing.
