We moved two families of chicks to the quail barn today.

The youngest five have their Silkie mum with them to defend them from the five older chicks. They all have much more space and shade in the barn. Our visitors have just been to see them

And had a cuddle. This is a three or four week old chick
This is an 8 week old chick.

Our guests brought us a welcome gift

And they will go home with honey, jam and eggs
