Only the second time (for me) – and in the Colmworth Country Park

A few years ago I spotted a Marbled White butterfly along New Road. Today, for only my second time, I was privileged to watch two Marbled Whites swooping and flitting and fluttering amongst the meadow flowers and grasses of the country park

The Marbled White prefers purple flowers, says Dr Google

I stopped at the church on my way home and chatted with K, who was running the Coffee Stop morning for villagers. She had been seeing Marbled Whites near her house and she kindly sent me a photo
