Sounds like an online dating advert but Meghan was in season on Friday and looking for a mate

The problem is that there is only a 12 hour window in which a goat in season can become pregnant and that window had closed by the time I located a mate for Meghan. In three weeks time I will contact the goat keeper again snd she will (if possible) rush the Billy over to The Gables to mate with Meghan.

Meanwhile on the sheep front I have been waiting for lambs for two weeks. Jeremy has said all along that there would not be any until Burns Night (25th January). I’m always impatient and he’s usually right!
