Wednesday ended in a blaze of glory

It was a rare pleasure to enjoy a clear sky and the sight of the sun

This morning the skies are mottled but mostly grey and it is unseasonably mild

Pinky’s lambs (two are nearly a year old and Surprise, the August lamb, still growing) came to greet me as I wandered into the field
We hope that lambing will begin at the end of January. It’s time to check that we have all the supplies in place such as lamb bottles, colostrum and milk powder.
