A special half term visit

Whilst one half of the family were staying at The Gables with their friends (relaxing and also taking turns driving the tractor and helping Jeremy muck out the goat shed) I went to London. First I made a condolence visit to a family of whom we are very fond. It was good to reminisce and talk about a special lady. Then I went to see mum for a second time this week. I spoke with The Home and I was permitted to take a well wrapped up mother out into the courtyard where she saw two of her great grandchildren in person. She had seen them through a window during the first lockdown but holding hands was lovely.

Now I’m home and the sun is shining and I’m pulling up the borage so that Jeremy can sow more peas and onions.
