First step – plant trees seven years ago (thank you Joy, Hadassah and mum for longing for zwetchgen plums of yesteryear)

Then pick a bowl full and stone them and add to the tray of thick batter

Cook in the oven

And ten minutes before finishing glaze with
Plum jam heated with a little water
Cook until the jam is bubbling
Try not to eat before guests arrive later in the week (or make more tomorrow!)

Btw there’s a story about the plum trees – no time today but to be continued ……
