Learning to cook with honey and giving the bees a helping hand

The bee “feeder” sits just under the roof of the hive
J has given the bees a syrup to help them settle into the hive and to give them additional nourishment while they get to know their new surroundings

Once the fields, crops and flowers are in abundance the bees will have a plentiful supply of pollen and nectar. The syrup is a supplement until they can fend for themselves and it encourages them to draw out more cells for storage which helps the colony to expand.
