The hairdresser rented a perfectly good premises off St Neots high street. She had started the business from scratch, decorated and fitted it and she worked hard for five long years. It was busy and bustling. During the pandemic the landlord gave her a rent holiday in the first lockdown but refused to give her a rent holiday during the second. To add insult to injury he decided to put up the rent! He now has an empty shop and she has rented a small unit alongside a tattoo parlour and another salon and a Botox beautician on an industrial estate on the edge of town. Good luck to her.
