The geese gather at the pond gate to receive their growers pellets (suitable for ducks and geese and young chickens). They are such beautiful creatures in spite of their noise – which is mostly bluff and bluster.

The sky was grey and dismal when I first went out but some of the clouds are breaking up and blue is peeking through the gloom
