Autumn treats

The Borlotti beans are fattening inside the pods. When the pods begin to wither we will strip out the beans and dry them in the airing cupboard

We store the dried beans in jars to use in soups and stews throughout the winter

There is a sprinkling of autumn fruiting raspberries. Smaller than the summer crop but a treat to pick and eat as we walk to and from the squash patch

The Jack be Little pumpkins are ripening and are perfect for roasting

These have just gone into the oven with red onion, garlic, tromboncino, olive oil, salt and pepper
