Here I have only seen cashier’s wearing masks, which is mandatory! Gloves have been found to be not that useful and therefore personal choice. I have continued to do a weekly shop rather than delivery as they always seem to forget to bring something, although they charge for it and then it takes ages to get a refund. Stay safe xxx
That is true of all check out personnel in Sainsbury’s and has been from the beginning. However they are shielded by perspex screens and customers are called to them one at a time after one has followed a meandering route via all the unused checkouts. The physical effort of doing that while pushing a loaded trolley with a face mask on is enough to kill off any anciana!
