Two Wednesday evenings in a row I have zoomed into a London library event where two separate authors have been interviewed. Last week it was the human rights lawyer Phillipe Sands whose second book, the Rat Line, has just been published to critical acclaim. Tonight the journalist and author, Hadley Freedman, is talking about her wonderful new book, House of Glass.

If not for Covid 19 I would definitely not be able to attend these talks. Similarly dance from Sadlers Wells and plays from the National Theatre and The Royal Court. Reasons to be cheerful and grateful.
