A walk, a talk, a horse and more

Grandson finished his morning schoolwork and we set off for a “country walk” along Mill Road. First off we met a beautiful horse ridden by a rider who I knew (but hadn’t recognised under her riding hat). We had a brief chat and admired the horse.

Then we strode across the fields where some hunters were setting up decoy pigeons and a hide.

Then we were on the home straight and stopped to admire Kate’s cows and ponies as we looked into one of her fields. I’ve now had my daily exercise and non stop, delightful conversation!
