We continue to breed (often in horrific conditions) and eat meat. The farmed animals are pumped with antibiotics and then we are terrified because human diseases are becoming antibiotic resistant. Wild and endangered species are killed for food and bogus medicines and then incurable diseases cross from them to humans. Crazy. It is time that we followed our young people, stirred ourselves out of our torpor and took action. Here endeth the polemic. Back to normal blogging later!
