After supper we will eat fruit to remind us of the importance of planting trees and vines.

A few years ago our grandson’s class made a trip to The Gables and all the children took turns digging earth and planting fruit trees. An ancient festival for trees reminds us that we all have an obligation to plant trees even if we will not pick the fruit. Future generations will enjoy them and the trees will cleanse the very air that we breathe. Happy Tu Bishvat
