I bought it at the village garden party in June and it is flowering, still, in December.

The delphinium has put out a second wave of flowers too.

If it stays mild then can we expect flowers all year round?
In September a friend gave me part of an alpaca fleece. I started to spin it a couple of days ago and I really like the colours and texture. I am mixing just a little Jacob wool in with the fibres as they are longer than alpaca and help to hold it together.

Spinning is a winter pursuit when the days are short and the nights long and I need to keep idle hands busy as I sit by the wood burner otherwise I doze off in the heat.
Hi there, pretty sure this is a Gazania.
I still have roses and a perennial wallflower out at home.
Lisa has roses, and a smashing penstemon happily in flower.
We had a grey drizzly morning and a few heavy showers while in Plymouth. Sky cleared as we drove home and now just getting dusk now – a lot later sunset this far west!
Have a good weekend
Kate
Hi Gill
Did you ever find out what it is?
It’s lovely and I’d like one too!
