Another quail hatched when my walking friends were at The Gables at lunchtime. I picked one up and it is tiny and oh, so sweet. Just hope it survives and thrives. The second gift was from daughter. I had told her about an African-American country and western singer whose single “Best Shot” topped the country charts in November 2018. Apparently daughter has been listening to Jimmie Allen on Amazon music so she sent me his CD (I am a bit old fashioned) and now we can both indulge our passion for country music in our own way.
