My nephew and his amateur football team took part in a charity football competition at The Emirates this afternoon. A lot of money was raised for The Arsenal Foundation that supports local causes

(my nephew is bottom left hand of photo above and second from left front rower in photo below ). My brother took the afternoon off work to watch and support the team. He just called to tell me that they won the competition!

Our sports loving and playing dad would have been so proud. Until the end he would go out in all weathers to watch his grandson play football and he watched my kids, over very many years, in all their sporting endeavours.
