Yesterday we moved the three remaining goose eggs, the two broody bantams and the newly hatched gosling to more fitting accommodation near the pergola. There is a run and a house so the rapidly growing baby can stretch its legs and get plenty of fresh air. This little goose will be “hen pecked” by two mothers as both seem to believe it’s their hatchling. However they seem happy to co parent and co sit on the remaining three goose eggs.
