The threatening sky dissipated and Kate and Zola and I went for a sunny walk early this afternoon.

As we returned up the gentle incline we stopped to chat with a friend who was outside gardening in the sunshine.

Later on (after stopping at home to feed a bottle to Little ‘Un) I called in to sit and chat with friend Heather, in her bright and sunny conservatory. She is knitting a cuddly teddy bear and she assures me that the pattern is easy – but definitely way beyond my skill set!
