Built around the Great River Ouse, the town of St Neots is a perfect sized town. The library is well stocked and has an excellent children’s section.

There are good playgrounds by the river and a year round cafe where there is ice cream even in winter.

And when we finished shopping for groceries we went along the jetty and fed bread to the seagulls, ducks and swans.
