Daughter and family and assorted friends have come to stay in the barn and bedrooms, cook pizzas, play the piano organ and watch a film with their children.

We are sitting quietly by the fire in the house, enjoying an early evening tipple with our friend Kate who has walked over to The Gables in a high vis jacket. Happy and healthy new year one and all but please excuse me……I am heading for an early night.
