A busy morning and not yet 9.00 am

Sun up spectacularly

But a chicken had died in the night and needed to be moved out of the hen house

and two purple campanula plants (bought at the very good plant stall on the Thursday market square in St Neots) needed to be planted

And all while listening to Erran Baron Cohen’s album, Songs in the Key of Hanukkah, as recommended by email this morning by my dear friend in Sweden. Jazzy versions of old favourites such as “dreidel, dreidel, dreidel I made you out of clay”! Not exactly mainstream and my friend isn’t even Jewish. Even more strange is that the dreidel song was sung to Jeremy yesterday by a barrister during a telephone con and she is Hindu! Go figure.
