Today would have been dad’s 91st birthday, but he died four and half years ago at the age of 86 and just weeks after celebrating 65 years of marriage to mum. The party was held at The Gables and they were surrounded by friends and family , children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Today is also the fifth anniversary of the first “Gables Blog” which began on November 13th 2015. This is what the house and fields looked like back then and also the barn and stable block. Romantic but somewhat ramshackle! Here’s to happy anniversaries and good memories.
