He just ate his cat food breakfast but was still hungry for corn and layers pellets!


They had gone to play in the barn and we snuck up behind them and closed the barn gate. Then we caught them and had a cuddle. Then we let them go again!




The girl lambs, except for twins that we are going to keep. They will be collected in a couple of weeks time and will live on a seven acre smallholding at the edge of The Fens. Lucky girls.



Both just coming into their own.



A group of youth workers are here to check out The Gables. They plan to bring their summer youth camp leaders here for a workshop in June.




Mrs Duck has abandoned her nest to spend time with her mate. They are always together – swimming in the pond, wandering in the long grass or just sunbathing


And there’s a cuppa waiting outside the church. Heather arranges tea and coffee on the second Wednesday of every month for anyone who dances a natter and a drink.
